CONTINUATION AFTER A ONE-YEAR COURSE
Candidates admitted to a one – or two-year course only who wish to stay on as candidates for a longer qualification must re-apply to the Board of Graduate Studies on a special form available from the Board’s office and not though the Admissions Office. In considering such applications account is taken of the student’s previous academic record and performance in the one – or two-year course. Candidates admitted to a one – or two-year course as prospective research students do not need to apply to continue in this way, they will automatically be considered at the point the results of the course are known.
Candidates for one of the degrees, diplomas and certificates not available to be counted towards the requirements for a research degree must apply again to the Admissions Office of the Board of Graduate Studies on CIGAS Form ‘A" if they wish to be admitted as Graduate Students at the end of their degree, diploma or certificate course.
