• The research proposal should either be feasible as it stands, or show sufficient
originality and focussed awareness of relevant critical issues to suggest that a workable definition of the research topic could be achieved early in the first year of
research.

• We must have a supervisor who is both willing and able to ensure the successful guidance and implementation of the project during the candidate’s proposed stay in
Cambridge.
